The Tatami Galaxy is a Japanese campus novel written by Tomihiko Morimi. The story is about a graduating student who reminisced on the misadventures of his past campus life at Kyoto University. One day, he got a chance to enroll in different student clubs in parallel universes, but he was never satisfied in any of them. Eventually, he was confined to his small Tatami room and began to reflect on what he had already possessed.
