News (2019)
People receive news from a variety of sources on social media and some comments are aggressively made without them knowing the entire story. In addition, some information is published by domestic platforms, while others are spread across countries. Some sources are seemingly reliable, while others are not even reported due to governmental pressure.
As I read news from distinct sources and realize that majority of the platforms provide context from a single perspective subjected to their own, which is somewhat biased and limited. Therefore, I designed an app providing news reports from a range of publications, countries and journalists about one specific event. By gathering all sources together, hopefully we got to hear diverse andd unrestricted voices and opinions from other sides of the world.
