Conversation (2019)

It is interesting to be an observer. In a crowded room, people are constantly talking to satisfy their urge of expressing themselves. However, are their audiences listening to what they say?

Nowadays people have plenty of ways to interact with the outside world, but we still feel lonely. In this work, I create several twisted bottles to symbolize the mobilizing actor of speaking. The falling keys come out from the side of the container representing the secrets that people keep in minds. I bend the copper wire into curvy shapes to signify the flattering words people say every day. People pretend to be outspoken, but they hide their true thoughts.
