中華書局 (2019)
Researching the brand, Zhonghua Publication (中華書局) , I designed templates based on the historical transition of the publication from the past to the present. The project is oriented by a juxtaposition of the traditional and simplified Chinese character of “book,” “書” and “书,” with an overall shift from the concretely delineated front cover to a minimalistic back cover in the symbol of historical events happening over time since 1910 and loss of interpretive dimension of Chinese characters over time.
